Ahoy Savannah!
It’s music to my EARS to hear that you are planning an
adventure on the high seas with your little one. Traveling with my kids when they were little really taught them a love for travel and to learn about other cultures and countries. Plus, it’s just plain fun! I hope you will feel the same way after your Disney cruise.
There’s a reason why you are seeing so much gray on the calendar for the
“it’s a small world” nursery! as it is not available for the time being. Sorry that this may be a disappointment, but I know they will be bringing it back as soon as they can safely. In the meantime, take advantage of the fact that many activities and entertainment options are available and will be so much fun to experience with your little one.
Let’s focus on the “glass half full” positives: I’ve heard that the overall crowds on these cruises are remarkably lower than what is normal, so that will also mean some unique opportunities onboard. The number one plus for little kids is the fact that there are
character appearances all over the ship. In fact, the characters are making their presence known even more than in the past! So grab some photos of your kiddos in front of their favorites and enjoy the wonderful interactions that can take place, even if physically distanced.
Drop a message in a bottle again if you think of any additional questions. All of us here at planDisney are happy to help. Wishing you a joyful experience as you introduce your little one to the magic of Disney cruising!
