When is It’s a small world nursery expected to open on Disney cruise ships?

Ahoy, Teresa, and thank you for visiting us at planDisney! Welcome!

I'm so glad you thought to come to us with your inquiry as you prepare to set sail with the Disney Cruise Line. There is so much fun, entertainment, and excitement awaiting you onboard. The countdown is on!

Did you know that you can download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and use the character-filled countdown as a way to build excitement for your vacation? The app will also be your handy first mate once onboard. It's where you'll go to view the daily activity schedule, your specified dining rotation, and can be used as a way to chat and keep in touch with your sailing crew.

It sounds like your sailing crew includes a sailor under the age of three. At this time, Disney Cruise Line has not yet announced when "it's a small world" nursery! will reopen. I wish that I had an exact date to share with you and I apologize that I don't. With Guest and Crew Member health as a top priority for the Disney Cruise Line, health and safety protocols are being updated regularly. I'd keep an eye on the Updated Experiences page of the Disney Cruise Line website as your sailing approaches to see what you need to "Know Before You Go". We are seeing many changes regularly, so my fingers are crossed that we hear news about the nursery soon.

Did you know that the Disney Cruise Line strives to make traveling with a little one as easy as possible? If you'd like, your stateroom host can provide you with a complimentary diaper disposal unit, bottle warmer, bottle sterilizer, crib, or playpen. All of the dining locations onboard also offer high chairs to make feeding your child easy and you can even request freshly pureed vegetables in the main dining restaurant or to be delivered via room service. Also available via room service are the beloved Mickey Bars! I hope you get a chance to enjoy one, or two, or three ... it's vacation after all!

Teresa, thank you again for visiting planDisney! Please cruise back to us again with more questions. I wish you a memorable voyage for you and your sailing crew.

    Magic awaits!
