Hi Sunara! From my side of the Atlantic to your side of the Atlantic, I welcome you to planDisney! “it’s a small world” indeed!
At the present time, there is no notice of a planned closure for “it’s a small world” at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida! The best way to keep track of planned closures for refurbishments and maintenance is to visit the Walt Disney World Resort website!
If an attraction is planned to have a closure, the information will be posted in a few locations. First, it will be posted on the webpage for the specific attraction. In this case, you'll want to check the
webpage for "it's a small world." Another place to find all planned closures is on the
Disney Parks Day Calendar. When you visit the Day Calendar, you will see an area posted for each park. If any closures, maintenance, or refurbishments are planned, you will find an area at the bottom of the page titled “Closed for Refurbishment.” For example, if you visit the Day Calendar now you will see that Disney’s Hollywood Studios has listed Rock n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and Vacation Fun – An Original Animated Short with Mickey and Minnie in the “Closed for Refurbishment” section.
Sunara, I sure hope you and your mom get to sing along to “it’s a small world” when you visit in July 2025! Continue to check the Day Calendar for any planned refurbishments!
Dreams do come true!
