Hi Kristen,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am so thrilled that you are considering Biergarten Restaurant for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. I am transported to my Oma’s house whenever I visit this amazing dining location at Epcot.
What I really love about this restaurant is the true Oktoberfest spirit that you find there, and sitting at a communal table is part of this great Bavarian experience. There are no smaller tables. Ask your host or hostess if you can sit with your party at the end of the table. I usually sit my daughter at the very end of the table, then I sit right next to her, and my husband sits right in front of her at the other side. Please ask for the end facing the stage and dance floor. If possible, Cast Members will do their best to accommodate your party. Our daughter gets so distracted with the band and talking to us that she has never had any issues or concerns with other people sitting around us. What happens is that people are so involved with their own party that in the end it really feels as if you were at a table with your family only. Last time we visited my daughter even asked me to dance with her on the dance floor! We had so much fun, this is really a great restaurant for families and I am sure you will make unforgettable memories.
As for the band, they are amazing! They play Oktoberfest classics and are a lot of fun! Don’t worry because you will surely catch them. On our last visit they played for about 25 minutes and then came back after a break. We were there for two hours and enjoyed two performances. Again, I suggest asking Cast Members upon arrival if they can confirm performance times. Please note that entertainment is subject to change.
I hope this helps you while planning, and that you have an amazing time at Biergarten Restaurant.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
