Hello Sarah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The last time my wife and I traveled to Walt Disney World Resort without the kids, we dared to venture off Resort property to try on of the other "offerings" in Orlando. One of the aspects that definitely made our off-property experience less than
Endlessly Magical was in how there was no convenient location to store your rucksack when going on attractions that required you too store them. Not only that, but some attractions even required locker rental for items in your pockets (including smartphones) while on rides.
Needless to say, I was irritated since Walt Disney World Resort allows small bags to be easily stowed on all of their attractions. Even Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, a ride that takes you to incredible speeds and upside down, has a small pouch in front of your seat to stow your belongings. I have never had to store my bag at the side of a ride for any attraction at Walt Disney World Resort.
If you are still uneasy about your belongings,
there are lockers available at each of the 4 Theme Parks and 2 Water Parks available to rent for the day.
I used to bring a camera on all of our park visits, but found that I could never get quality pictures. Instead, my family takes advantage of
Disney PhotoPass Photographers and purchases Memory Maker for each vacation to ensure that our most important family moments are captured-for-all-time by professionals. Once we link our Memory Maker to our MagicBands, every picture taken requires only a simple "scan of the band" to be linked to our
My Disney Experience Account.
Have a Magical Vacation!
