    Are small ice chest allowed

    Hey there, hi there Beshka!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Summer will be here before you know it and so will your vacation! You're going to love the new shows, attractions, snacks, and special decorations that are part of The World's Most Magical Celebration!

While you are in the parks you'll be doing a lot of walking, and June in Florida can be hot. It's super important to stay hydrated. Having a cooler with snacks and chilled beverages is a great idea, especially if you're traveling with little ones and it's small enough to keep in your stroller. Otherwise, there are lockers available for rental in all four theme parks to store larger items and access them throughout the day.

Keep in mind any cooler needs to be smaller than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Ice packs are recommended for chilling items in your cooler since loose ice cubes and dry ice are not allowed. Also, make sure that you have no glass containers in your cooler. There is an exception for baby food jars.

I also recommend bringing a refillable water bottle into the parks with you. There are a couple of water bottle filling stations in the parks, and you can also stop by any counter service location and ask for a complimentary cup of water if you need to refill.

Hope this helps. Mickey can't wait to see ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
