I have a small heart shaped purse with small spikes on it. Would that be allowed into the park. As I plan to go later this month.

Hey there, hi there, Kiara! Welcome to planDisney. We are happy to have you here!

You've brought us a great question! I get excited to accessorize my Disneyland outfits, so I love to hear that you are thinking about your outfit details ahead of your visit. I took a peek at the Guest Attire Policies, and there are no specific details that outline that your purse would be prohibited. With that said, Security Cast Members at the security checkpoints that you will go through to enter Disneyland Resort and Downtown Disney District always have the final say on what is or is not allowed on property. This is for the safety of all Guests and Cast Members. So I just want to make you aware that there is always a chance they could say it is a potential safety issue, and you would have to return to your car or hotel with your purse.

While you visit the parks, be sure to take some time to enjoy Downtown Disney District! Over the last year, so many new stores and restaurants have opened, and even more are to come! I love a meal in the parks, but sometimes when mobile ordering is booked up, I hit up one of the quick service locations in Downtown Disney, like Tiendita, for a delicious quesadilla. Of course, there is also the very popular Din Tai Fung, but did you know you can order for pick up? There's a great little grassy area to hang out and enjoy your bites.

Kiara, I hope this information helps you make a decision on your purse. If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find us!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
