Are small dogs allowed in downtown disney

    Hiya Alicia,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us.

You’re “almost there” for your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort! Star Wars Season of the Force has crash-landed in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Pixar Fest is now in full swing! And Fantasmic! has made a spectacular return to the stage, so your upcoming visit will surely be memorable!

According to the Disneyland Resort Rules, pets or other animals are prohibited from entering the theme parks or Downtown Disney District. Unless your small dog is a service animal (not an emotional support animal or comfort/companion animal), they are not allowed inside the Downtown Disney District. Since you will have to leave your dog at home, I recommend you make it up to them by stopping at Disney Home or World of Disney and bringing some Disney-themed pet souvenirs home!

If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
