Are small decorated Christmas trees still available for room delivery ? Do we have to use the Disney approved floral delivery service or are 3rd parties allowed to deliver small decorative christmas trees?

Hello, Kellie, and welcome back to planDisney! This is a great question. I'm glad to help you with it!

There is nothing like Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort! It is truly another level of magic! There is so much to see and do to celebrate the holiday season. I love the idea of having a small Christmas tree in your resort room. Let's look at your options:

    • You could bring one (along with the trimmings) or have one shipped to your resort hotel before your arrival. It would remain at Guest Services until you picked it up, or it could be delivered to your room if someone is there to receive it. There is a small handling fee to receive a package at your resort hotel.
    • You could order one from Magical Floral & Gifts. I have seen some of their small Christmas trees in the past, and they are really cute! I love that they are Disney-themed. They don't have any Christmas options on their website right now, but you could call and get more information.
    • You can have something delivered from another service. I just had a conversation with a helpful Cast Member who explained that third-party vendors may deliver to Disney Resort hotels, provided it is consistent with Disney's Property Rules and Policies. I recommend planning to meet the vendor to accept delivery.
While the theme parks have plenty of Christmas decor and experiences to help you celebrate the season, I encourage you to take some time to visit a few Disney Resort hotels to check out their decorations and holiday treats. You can take a boat from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Wilderness Lodge, which traditionally has a stunning Christmas tree and gingerbread display. My favorite seasonal activity, though, is the Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs. I like to grab a holiday drink from Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company and take my time admiring all the themes and details, while I make notes for my own decorations for next year!

I hope this was helpful, Kellie, and that you and your family have the most magical Christmas yet! Please let us know if you have any more questions. We love helping guests plan their next Disney vacation!

    Always dreaming -
