Are small coolers with snacks and food allowed in for my toddler?

Hi Jessica! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are going to have SO much fun with your toddler at the Walt Disney World Resort soon! We have taken our little ones since they were infants and I vividly remember their toddler visits. Their faces lit up each time they saw a Character they recognized, especially when they laid eyes on Mickey Mouse! What joyful memories!

Taking in snacks for your toddler is not only allowed, I encourage it! Having a "hangry" kiddo is no fun for anyone and we have avoided many meltdowns in the theme parks by bringing along familiar snacks from home. There are a few Park Rules to follow when it comes to food, beverages, and coolers in the theme parks: no alcoholic beverages, no glass containers (except for small ones like baby food jars), and no bags or coolers larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. If you follow these guidelines, you should be all set! Keep in mind that all bags and coolers will have to go through the security bag check. I like to place our snacks in clear bags or containers, so the Cast Members can more easily see what is inside when they search our backpack. They take safety very seriously and are thorough in their search, so I try to do anything I can to help them out!

I hope you have the BEST vacation, Jessica! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
