What is your slowest time of year?

    Margaret:

You've asked the million dollar question!

Most crowd forecasting sites like www.touringplans.com would tell you that any time during Value Season for Disney is a slow time, afterall, this is when they offer good value rates to help raise attendance. Value Season runs roughly from the middle of January through mid-February; mid-August through the beginning of October; and early November through mid-December with the exception of Thanksgiving Week.

In my opinion, the month of September (especially after Labor Day) rivals late January for the slowest time of the year.  November and December tend to be hit-or-miss as more folks realize you can enjoy the Christmas decorations and lovely Orlando weather all at the same time!

Our family's gone at all of these times, and I tend to opt for the better weather that October or December brings, even if it means a slight bump in the crowds....I can handle the bigger crowds later in the year if the weather isn't as humid!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
