I am still slightly confused about the Family Fun 5K and it's "rules". I just did a 5K walk and it took me 1hr 8m pushing a stroller. How am I suppose to keep up? How do you sign up with a stroller? Does that mean I pay for 2 people?

    Hi Jenny!

The Family Fun Runs are not timed races, but they do require a runner to finish it with an average of 16-minute per mile pace.  What happens is, they have pacers that begin the race after the last runner crosses the start line.  The pacers go at a 16-minute/mile pace, and if you get behind them there will be golf carts to transport you to the finish area.

The reason runDisney has these requirements is because the races take place inside of the Disney Parks.  In order for the parks to get ready for its normal operations, there has to be a cutoff time for them to clear people out.

RunDisney has discontinued (for now) the stroller division option.  The decision was made in the safety and best interests of all the runners.  All runners must be able to complete the races on their own.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
