Hi James, it's great to see you again at planDisney! Can you believe that there are just a few more days until you’re walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and strolling around World Showcase?! So let’s chat about the dress code at
Yachtsman Steakhouse so you can finish up your packing.
According to the Yachtsman Steakhouse webpage, guests are expected to dress in attire that “respects the restaurant’s sophisticated and upscale aesthetic.” While it’ll be up to the Cast Members to determine what’s appropriate, the only specifications are that clothing should be “clean, neat and in good condition” and that swimwear isn’t allowed. So as long as your clothes meet that criteria, you should be good to go. In my experience, you’ll see a range of outfits at Disney’s Signature Dining restaurants, but guests typically stay away from very casual clothing, like ripped jeans or shorts.
If you’d like to dress up, but don’t want to wear a fancier outfit to the theme parks (after all, it’s so easy to pop into EPCOT before or after your Yachtsman Steakhouse reservation!), you could
rent a locker at the theme parks to stash your change of clothes.
Next week is the practically perfect time to visit EPCOT because it’s covered in colorful plants for the
International Flower & Garden Festival! I could spend all day exploring World Showcase, sampling the small plates at the
Outdoor Kitchens, and looking for the different
Disney character topiaries. There’s also the
Garden Rocks Concert Series, which is included in your park admission! As you start getting excited for your trip, be sure to check out Disney Parks Blog’s
festival foodie guide to preview the delicious offerings.
I hope you have the best time ever next week! And if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.
