Hi, 18 more sleeps till we arrive POR, can't wait. Can you tell me if there are kettles as well as coffee makers in the rooms. We are tea drinkers and would require a kettle to boil water. If not is it ok to bring a travel kettle? Thanks in advance.

Your magical vacation is just around the corner!

While your resort room will have a coffee maker, there is no kettle to boil water.  Your best option would be to dash over to the food court where you can get hot water from the dispenser at no charge.  Just bring your own mug and tea bags and you will be good to go!  Travel kettles or any other travel appliance in your room would be against the fire codes of the resort.

If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, you will receive a free Rapid Refill mug which would include all the tea you can enjoy during your vacation.  Enjoy your stay at the beautiful Port Orleans Riverside!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
