Q#12:) 32 more sleeps :) 8day 7nights w/ dining. If we have meals/snacks left over at the end of our stay, when do they expire? On the day of the 7th night, or the last day? And, how do we know what snacks are covered under our regular dining plan? Thx :)

    Hey Lisa,

Welcome again my friend!  Have you heard of DisneyVacationConnection.com?  There is a countdown clock on there that I love! I go and look at it every day because that means I'm one day closer to my trip.  Your trip is super close now :-)

Disney Dining Plan (DDP) credits expire at midnight on the day you check out.  If an item is considered a snack on the dining plan, there will be a DDP symbol next to it on the menus.  Generally, most single serve items (food and drinks) under $4.00 qualify as a snack, however, there will of course be some exceptions.  Some snack items like a bag of Mickey Gummies and the Chip & Dale Trail Mixes no longer qualify.

If you have some snack credits you haven't used at the end of your trip, you can pick up some snacks to take with you.  Some of the favorite "take home" snacks of some of the Moms on the Panel are Rice Krispie treats, Gingerbread men and large chocolate covered Mickey pretzels.  One Mom even picks up little boxes of fudge to take home as gifts for friends and neighbors that gets their mail, waters plants, etc. while she is at Disney World.  A great way to bring home and spread a little pixie dust.  Just make sure you pick up things that will travel well and clear customs when you arrive home (if they make it that far - LOL!).

So excited for you and wishing you many magical memories that are soon on the way :-) Allison
