What are sleeping accommodation options for my toddler?

    All aboard the Magic Carpet!

Welcome to planDisney, Shem. Are you ready to explore this whole new world with me? I can’t explain the Magic you feel when traveling with little Mouseketeers. There’s nothing I enjoy more than exploring the parks through the eyes of my little ones. You can seriously see the shining, shimmering, splendid joys of Walt Disney World Resort shine through their eyes!

After a long day in the parks, my little ones are ready for bed the second we return to our Disney Resort hotel. My Mouseketeers usually end up sharing the second queen sized bed in our room. They don’t wiggle around too much, but if you have a squirmy toddler, I recommend placing a request for a bed rail. The bed rails are available upon request, so there is no guarantee you will be able to get one. If you have a smaller toddler, you can always place a request for a crib or playpen. My two year old lived in his playpen until he could no longer fit!

Shem, I hope this helps give you an idea on what would work best for your toddler. I’m sure they will have a blast exploring the parks! Be on the lookout for a Character Cavalcade you never know which Disney Character will be passing by.

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Texas

Hi! I'm Shantel from Arizona. I am a mom of two and a military wife. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey-shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for and I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical! Learn More About Shantel
