Hi Tracey,
Welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like we have reason to celebrate - you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! If your two 5-year old little ones are twins, I am smiling from ear to ear because we took our twin girls to the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time when they were 5-years old.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is definitely one of my family's favorite resorts. You will be delighted to know that there are several room types aside from the suites that can sleep five people. Standard, pool, marina, lagoon, and theme park view
rooms can all sleep up to five adults. Either one of these rooms would be perfect for your family. You just need to pick the view you want! Even though there are only four of us, my girls will rotate who takes the day bed and who sleeps in the other queen bed. When we last stayed here, our room had a view of the monorail and we had a first floor room with a patio.
The resort is simply gorgeous and our girls adore the main pool area. We also appreciate all of the
Resort Transportation options available at this resort. If you are making
advanced dining reservations, know also that you can walk from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. And, most exciting, now we can walk from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Magic Kingdom!
Tracey, as you plan, remember to keep an eye on the
operational updates since policies and procedures could change by the time of your visit. This resort inspires lots of relaxation, so be sure to plan for some. When you head to the pool, be sure to check for life jackets for the little ones. We cannot wait to welcome you back to a
world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
