Can I use the skyliner or monorail if not staying at one of the resorts if I am traveling between Magic Kingdom and EPCOT (monorail) or Hollywood Studios and EPCOT (skyliner) or is that just for resort guests right now?

    Howdy Jennifer!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I love Disney transportation, and I am so excited to help you with your question!

No trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is complete unless my family has adventured all of the different types of Disney transportation!  The monorail, boat taxis, Disney Skyliner, and busing has been designed for guests to be able to be transported from their resorts to the theme parks with ease.  All guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort do have access to these different means of transportation.  When using Disney transportation, I highly recommend keeping track of theme park hours, so you will be able to be transport back to your parking lot.  Walt Disney World Resort transportation closes shortly after the parks close, so sometimes it might be more convenient to take your vehicle to your destination.

If you find that you are at a park and the Walt Disney World transportation that you need to bring you back to the parking lot where your vehicle is has stopped running, you may need to use another method of transportation.  I love Minnie Vans!  Currently, we do not have a date for when they will be assisting guests, but keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all updates.  The Disney Parks Blog is the best place to stay up-to-date on everything as the Walt Disney World reopens!

I love making Advanced Dining Reservations at different Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.  Advanced dining reservations are a fantastic way to enjoy the parks and take a much-needed break during the day.  Your reservation will allow you to explore different resorts, Walt Disney World transportation, relax, and recharge to take on the remainder of your day!

There are so many exciting things to do and see in 2020 and 2021!  To stay informed of everything, check out the Disney Parks Blog!  Also, if you have any more questions while you are planning, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

We look forward to helping you with any further planning questions, Jennifer!  Happy planning!
