Hi Luísa, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm so glad you asked this question because the
Disney Skyliner is honestly one of my favorite ways to get around Walt Disney World! There's something so relaxing about gliding above the treetops with those amazing views of the parks and resorts. It really does feel like you're on a ride itself.
I’m happy to share that yes, you can absolutely ride the Disney Skyliner even if you're not staying at a Disney resort hotel. The Skyliner is available for all guests visiting the most magical place on earth! You’ll see that it’s such a convenient way to connect Disney's Hollywood Studios and
EPCOT with some of the resort hotels like
Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, and Disney’s Art of Animation.
When you're traveling from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT, you'll hop on the Skyliner right outside the park entrance and then transfer at the
Caribbean Beach station. From there, you'll float right over to EPCOT's International Gateway entrance, which puts you right between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions in World Showcase. I love that entrance because you get to start your EPCOT adventure right in the heart of all that amazing food and culture!
Here's a little tip I've learned from experience: the Skyliner can get pretty busy around park opening and closing times. If you want a more chill ride without the crowds, try hopping on during late morning or mid-afternoon. It will be a much more relaxing flight, and you might even get your own gondola!
I hope this helps you plan your magical transportation, Luísa! The Disney Skyliner really is such a unique way to travel and gives you perspectives of Walt Disney World that you just can't get anywhere else.
"Now, think of the happiest things. It's the same as having wings!"
