Will the Skyliner be closed for refurbishment again at the end of January? I have a trip planned for 1/26 - 1/29 and currently have booked Pop Century but I'd like to change to a different resort if the Skyliner will be closed again during that week.

Hello, Christina thanks for swinging by planDisney with your question.

Disney's Pop Century Resort is a special place to my family as it is the first Disney Resorts Collection Hotel my family stayed in. This resort is full of all those fads from the 50s through the 90s. It really links a lot of generations, sharing the toys or games that took their generation by storm that are all over the lobby and even courtyards in between rooms. The Disney Skyliner is the perfect way to get to and from EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Yearly refurbishments happen for the aerial gondola system to make sure it is always in tip-top shape. These dates have not been announced yet. Please keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Walt Disney World website for the announcement dates of the yearly maintenance. If you would like to make changes to your reservations once the dates are announced you can call for assistance and someone will be able to help make any changes. You will also have access to the Walt Disney World Bus Service and they will be happy to get you from park to park.
