Hiya, Dale.
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for coming to my fellow panelist and me for your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning needs!
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort holds a special place in my heart. Not only do I love Breezy Beach Coladas from
Banana Cabana and the island-style vibes, but I enjoy taking advantage of the easy access to other
Disney Resorts Collection hotels by foot (Disney’s Riviera Resort) and by Disney Skyliner (BoardWalk Inn, Beach Club Resort, Yacht Club Resort, Art of Animation Resort, and Pop Century Resort). The Caribbean Beach Resort was also my family’s home away from home for much of my childhood Disney World Vacations, so there is plenty of nostalgia coming back to me while answering this question for you.
You most certainly can take the
Disney Skyliner from the Caribbean Beach Resort to EPCOT (the International Gateway entrance), walk through EPCOT, and hop on the
monorail to reach the Magic Kingdom. Still, it will take some time and require you to have the Park Hopper Option for your Theme Park Ticket. The only way to get from the International Gateway entrance (between the United Kingdom and France pavilions) to the main EPCOT entrance (where the monorail is) is to enter EPCOT with valid admission and cut through the park. Suppose your ticket allows you to hop from one park to another. In that case, I would plan on this trip taking about an hour: 15-minute Skyliner ride + 15-minute walk through EPCOT + 30-minute monorail ride to the Transportation & Ticket Center/transfer to the Magic Kingdom monorail.
If you are hurrying to get from your Resort to the Magic Kingdom, I would use
complimentary bus transportation instead. A bus from the Caribbean Beach Resort to the bus station just outside the Mickey tap-in points at Magic Kingdom would only be about a 20–25-minute ride, pending which stop you are at the Resort. To arrive in style, you can use the
Minnie Van Service, which is connected by Lyft. Not only will you be picked up in a Minnie-inspired red and white polka-dotted SUV, but you will be driven to your destination by one of Disney’s friendly Cast Members! To order a Minnie Van, you will open the Lyft app on your mobile device (while on Disney property), enter your destination, confirm your pick-up location, and then find “Minnie Van” through the available vehicle options.
I hope this helps, Dale! If you have any more questions,
drop me a line!
