Climb aboard, Suzanne! The Disney Skyliner is your magic carpet ride through the skies over the Walt Disney World Resort...at least a good part of it!
The
Disney Skyliner carries Guests to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT! The Disney Resort Hotels that are connected to the Skyliner are: Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and Disney's Pop Century Resort! I was able to experience the Skyliner for the first time when visiting with my fellow planDisney panelists! The Skyliner was convenient and comfortable! In all honesty, it felt like riding an attraction without even being inside of one of the theme parks! I'll be staying at Disney's Riviera Resort Hotel during my next visit with my family! I can't wait for them to experience the ride aboard the Skyliner! The views are picture perfect!
When not flying through the sky aboard the Skyliner, Guests can glide their way through the sky aboard the
Disney Monorail! The EPCOT monorail line currently is not operating. However, depending upon which resort Guests are "calling home" they can utilize bus, Skyliner, or
other forms of transportation when traveling to EPCOT. Also, due to the current refurbishment at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, the Monorail is not making stops at that location.
Suzanne, I hope this transportation advice is helpful as you continue your planning! Also, I always like to inquire at the front desk regarding the fastest transportation routes, especially when I stay at a resort for the first time. Often, the friendly Disney Cast Members have a few time-saving tips to share on how to best navigate the Most Magical Place on Earth!
