Can we skip the beginning of the Haunted Mansion ride and just go straight to the buggys? daughter wants to ride but the hanging person and loud scream scared her last time. Is it true there is a "chicken exit" if she decides not to ride once i

    Hi Stefanie!

Haunted Mansion is my all time FAVORITE attraction at Walt Disney World!!!  Sadly, your little princess will not be able to skip the stretching room where the corpse is found dangling above.  When my boys were smaller, I would cover one ear and sing or talk quietly in the other.  I would also have a blanket or jacket over their head/eyes.  The good news is that there is a "chicken exit" immediately after that dreaded room.  Look for the door marked  "For those of you too full of fear, one last chance to exit here!"  This door will lead you down a short hallway and have you exit near the actual exit to the attraction.

I think that your daughter will love the newest additions to the front of the entrance.  Many new interactive statues have been added - be sure to take the "scenic route."  Boo!

    Much pixie dust,
