Hi there, Barbara!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Can you believe your Disney Cruise Line vacation is coming up so soon?!?! Before you know it, April will be here, and you’ll be setting sail on an adventure you won’t forget!
With your vacation coming up so soon you are likely in the beginning stages of packing for your vacation…I always have the best intentions of being packed WAY AHEAD of time, but then reality hits and I am always a last-minute packer! But, as I always remind myself…if I am without something, I will survive OR I can
buy it onboard or when we stop at port! Perhaps that is how I have accumulated so many Disney Cruise Line shirts….
Disney Cruise Line will not weigh your checked luggage and there are no size restrictions on luggage that you check with the porters when you arrive at Port Canaveral for embarkation. Anything that you do carry-on will need to go through an X-ray scanner so those bags should be no larger than 22”x14”x9”. Please ensure that all medications, alcohol or water brought onboard be in your carry-on luggage and not your checked baggage. And, I always recommend waiting until right before you head to Port Canaveral to affix the luggage tags to your bags. This reduces the chance of them getting lost or accidentally removed!
As you continue your last-minute list of “to dos”, make sure you have the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on your smartphones. On it you will find lots of useful information including schedules, deck plans, menus and much more that will come in handy while onboard.
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
