Hi there, Sharon! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like your Walt Disney World adventure is just a few weeks away. You’ll be immersed in the magic before you know it, enjoying everything the Vacation Kingdom of the World has to offer. Woo hoo!
I’ve brought my fair share of kiddos to Walt Disney World, so I know the importance of having the right set of wheels. According to the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, strollers that are more than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long are prohibited. So if your stroller is less than those dimensions, you’re all set! I also want to note that stroller wagons are prohibited. You can find the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules and the prohibited items list
here.
As for securing strollers while you’re enjoying an attraction, you’ll find designated stroller parking areas outside many rides and shows. If you have any questions about where you should park your stroller, don’t hesitate to ask a friendly Cast Member who can direct you to the right spot. Cast Members may move strollers or reorganize a stroller area for safety reasons, and that’s when I find it helpful to have a bandana or other piece of flair on your handlebars so you can quickly spot it in the sea of strollers.
I assume you’ll be visiting with a little one since you’re asking about strollers, so don’t forget that there are
Baby Care Centers at all four Walt Disney World theme parks. Baby Care Centers have nursing rooms, changing tables, and sell essential baby and toddler items like diapers, wipes, sunscreen, and over-the-counter medications (subject to availability).
I hope this info helps with your vacation planning, Sharon. Don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have more questions. We’re always happy to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
