Which size of the outer deco bubble balloon used inside the mickey balloons at the disney parks? Is it 20 or 24 inch?

Hey, Aaron and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When it comes to Disney souvenirs, the Mickey "Glasshouse" balloon is a classic that makes all Guests "ooh" and"ahh." I contacted Carl Frederickson from Disney•Pixar film “Up!” who was traveling from Paradise Island with Kevin to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. He said the balloons are typically inflated to about 22 inches in diameter but, of course, that may vary with time and temperature. Carl is amazing!

Disney Dad Tip: The iconic Mickey "Glasshouse" balloons are fantastic stroller markers and if you ask with a spoonful of sugar, Cast Members will let you hold the balloon bouquet for photos.

Aaron, remember, to look inside the balloon and if you hear a tune there's nowhere to go but up.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
