What is the size of coolers allowed to be brought into the parks?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, John!

You are about to embark on a full-filled Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Your arrival date will be here before you know it, so now is the time to ensure you have what you need.

Per the Property Rules, Policies & Regulations, any suitcase, cooler, or backpack larger than 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) is not allowed in any theme park or water park. In addition, loose or dry rice is not permitted in those containers, but reusable ice packs are allowed. As long as your cooler falls below the restricted size, you are free to bring those into the parks so that your snacks and drinks can be kept cool. When my children were younger, we would bring a small cooler so they could have snacks that weren’t too hot from the sun’s heat.

We will be here if you have additional questions prior to your arrival.

    Have a magical time!
