Hello, Andrea. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your questions, you came to the right place! I bet you are getting so excited for your trip in July, it will be here before you know it.
Andrea, taking a cooler to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks can definitely cut down on the cost throughout the day. Getting drinks and snacks can really add up. My family likes to pack sodas and waters to enjoy throughout the day so I am very familiar with the cooler policy. At this time coolers, backpacks and suitcases cannot be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Inside your cooler be sure to not pack any outside alcohol or glass as those are not permitted into the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Also, loose ice is no longer allowed so you'll need to bring reusable ice packs with you to keep everything cold.
I think you'll be happy to know that you can, indeed,
rent a stroller during your vacation. In fact, when my daughter was phasing out of strollers this is exactly what we did because she didn't need one all of the time. You can rent a stroller for $15.00 each time or you can do a length of stay rental and pay $13 a day and save a little bit of money and time. The strollers are made of a hard plastic which makes it super convenient to wipe out in case of spills. The strollers have a sunshade, cup holders and a little bit of storage to keep all of your souvenirs in. I actually really like the strollers that are for rent and think they are a great option. If you do decide to rent a stroller at Walt Disney World, you might want to think about bringing something from home like a brightly colored bandanna to tie on the handle to help you identify yours easily. It can get lost in the sea of stroller sometimes. Andrea, I also wanted to let you know that wagons of any kind are not allowed at Walt Disney World. The
policy regarding stroller wagons was updated in 2019 for the safety and enjoyment of all Guests so it's best to leave that at home.
Andrea, I hope you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World. If you have any other questions before your trip, I'd love for you to come back and
ask me. I'm here to help! Have fun.
