Hi there, Erin!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I can't wait for you to make the journey to sunny California where it all began at the Disneyland Resort.
I recommend checking out the official
Park Rules before arrival. Since all items will be checked by security Cast Members before you enter the parks, I want to make sure you are prepared. Coolers, with or without wheels, larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high are not allowed in the parks. You will find that it is much easier to navigate the parks with a small cooler if you choose to bring one. You may also want to utilize the convenient
locker rentals located in each park or in the esplanade between both parks.
I like to always bring some small, portable snacks and a refillable bottle of water in to the parks. My preschooler often gets hungry while waiting for attractions, so it's great to have a granola bar or trail mix on-hand. Plus, staying hydrated is essential for a smooth day in the parks. You can find complimentary water cups at all Quick Service locations in the park to refill water bottles as well as many drinking fountains.
I hope this helps, and please return if you have have any other questions as you plan your magical vacation.
