What is the size of the child pullout bed in Port Orleans-River Side? Will it handle a 10 yr old?

    Hi William,

We are so very glad you stopped by to visit our Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for sending us this great question!

My family really enjoys Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside with its overall southern charm, stately mansions and serene atmosphere. The grounds there are stunningly beautiful and quite peaceful. This resort provides a nice change of pace from the exciting hustle and bustle of the theme parks. However, it's also only a short boat ride away from Disney Springs. This allows for easy access to the plethora of entertainment and dining options there too.

All the rooms in the Alligator Bayou section of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside have the extra pull-down Murphy style bed backed by a picture of the cutest sleeping alligator. When folded down, the bed measures approximately 33" wide by 66" long. This Murphy style bed has a very comfortable mattress that is a little over 5" thick. Even Snow White's Sleepy would approve of this bed! So, if your son is 5 feet tall or shorter, the pull-down bed will be absolutely perfect for him too.

I hope you found this information useful, William. Please be sure to come back again with more questions. We'll be happy to sprinkle a little pixie-dust on all your Disney vacation plans.

Wishing you an unforgettable visit to the place where The Magic is Endless!
