Hi Karen! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I want to be one of the first to wish YOU a very
Happy Un-Birthday! My momma always says that my birthday is a celebration for her too, so many happy returns! It sounds like y’all are doing it right for your daughter’s 30th. I can’t think of a better way to spend a birthday than at Walt Disney World. In fact, I’m spending my birthday there in a few weeks too!
You are on the perfect track with tickets to
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! The party is
spook-tacular for young and old! I definitely would not miss out on
Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way. There you can have reserved seating for
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and a frightfully delicious feast. The birthday girl also must do a thrilling ride on Space Mountain in complete darkness with a spooky soundtrack!
You mentioned that
FastPasses aren’t available for your trip. It might be that you aren’t quite in your selection window yet! If you are a
Resort Hotel Guest, you can book complimentary FastPasses 60 days before you arrive. If you are staying off-property, it’s 30 days. The great thing about attending
Mickey’s party is that you should experience little-to-no wait on rides since it’s a VIP event. But make sure to jump on
My Disney Experience to grab FastPass+ selections before you arrive!
A party is not complete for me without delicious food, and you are visiting at the perfect time.
Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival is my favorite special Disney event! I’m a total foodie, so I can spend hours wandering the outdoor kitchens and
sampling the delicious food and drink. If you are still visiting on Sunday, October 6th, Buddy Valastro (!) is the celebrity guest at
Sunday Brunch with the Chef. Tickets to the Brunch and Meet & Greet sound like the perfect birthday gift to me!
Karen, I hope
your celebration is practically perfect in every way!
