Hi. I have six people going to WDW the first week of October. We have reservations for a character meal at the Grand Floridian (1900 Park Fare) on Oct. 1 at 7:10. If we would like to see the fireworks that night at MK, what is our best plan of action?

    Hi Amy!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

Wishes, the Magic Kingdom fireworks show, is scheduled to be performed at 9:00 that night.  It's less than a 5 minute ride from the Grand Floridian to the Magic Kingdom via the monorail; of course, you might have to wait for 15 minutes for a monorail to arrive in the first place.

If you are done with dinner by 8:30 pm, I suggest catching the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and just watching the fireworks on Main Street USA.  However, if you are still at dinner at that time, then instead I suggest going outside and watching the fireworks near Narcoosees Restaurant or near the beach.  The view won't be as good as from inside the Magic Kingdom, but it is still nice.

I hope this helps!  Please write back if you have any more questions!
