Six days after Magic Kingdom turns 50 I turn 50! Do you have any idea when the Anniversary Celebration will start? We will need to plan our trip for July or August so hoping the celebration will have started by then.

     Hi Traci!

May I be the very first to wish you an early happy 50th birthday, even though I'm a few years early...! I think it would be perfect for you to celebrate your special day at Magic Kingdom. There is no better place to celebrate than at the "most magical place on Earth", so I'm happy to help you start planning your trip.

Disney definitely knows how to throw a party, so just like you, I'm so excited about Magic Kingdom's 50th anniversary. During Disneyland's Diamond Celebration a few years ago, Guests could enjoy so many amazing special activities at Walt's original theme park. And this year, Guests can enjoy Mickey & Minnie's Surprise Celebration to celebrate Mickey and Minnie's 90th birthday. Both of these parties included special entertainment, decorations and merchandise for Guests to enjoy. Based on these amazing celebrations, I'm sure the Disney Imagineers are dreaming up something special for Guests to enjoy for Magic Kingdom's special anniversary.

Currently, plans for the 50th anniversary of Magic Kingdom have not yet announced, including dates for this magical celebration. So I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements, as well as info about the awesome things headed to the theme parks in time for your visit!

Come back to see us if we can help you make your vacation plans. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
