We have six day park tickets with Park Hopper option. How would you suggest using the Park Hopper to our best advantage. Most days we "plan" to go back to the hotel to rest and swim with kids 4 and 6.

Hi Donna!  I love the park hopper options for the park tickets. This will give you so much more flexibility while you are there.

It is recommended that you avoid the parks during the day that have Extra Magic Hours scheduled. Guests who do not have this option will head to those parks for the entire day so they can enjoy the longer time in the park.  With the Park Hopper option you can enjoy another park during the day and then enjoy resort time, dinner, and then head to the Extra Magic Hours at another park for that great experience.

It is also recommended that you avoid Hollywood Studios on days when they have Fantasmic scheduled as this also draws quite a large crowd to the park.  You could get a dining package for later in the day at the Studios for your family and enjoy Fantasmic but spend the early part of the day somewhere else.

It is nice to have those "rests" and "swims" back at the resort with the younger children.  That is the time when the parks will be the busiest and have the longest lines so it is a good time to sit back and relax for a few hours.  You can also head to Downtown Disney to get away and enjoy something different or plan on some of the recreation that is offered such as fishing and boating.
