We have a six day base ticket and are traveling with a four year old. We are doing A.K. the latter half of the day we arrive, MK one full day, H.S. one full day, we are not visiting Epcot. How should we divide up the other days without a park hopper?

    Hi Juanita,

Everyone has there own way of planning a Walt Disney World vacation.  Personally, I like to let my four year old choose some of our itinerary while we are there.  I would say you need at least 2 full days in the Magic Kingdom.  That would leave you two days up in the air.  Ask your four year where he or she would like to go on days 5 or 6.  On those days make dinner reservations at one of the WDW resorts.  That way you won't be obligated to visit a park just because its where you are having dinner.

My daughter almost always chooses to go to Hollywood Studios on our "open" days.  She can watch the Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage show 3 times in one week.  We go along with that because it makes her happy even though it means that we may miss some other attractions.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation

Meet the Panelist: Michelle, New Jersey

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
