The site says that there are busses, but do these busses leave you at the entrances where you can show your ticket? The stops all seem to be in the parks? Can you even ride the bus before you go to the entrance? Can you move between parks after ticketing?

Howdy, Carolin! Thanks so much for your planning questions!

The bus system at Walt Disney World is part of the complimentary transportation system available to all guests visiting the property, whether you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel or just visiting from the surrounding Orlando area.

Once you're on Disney property, you can take advantage of the full range of transportation options, including buses, the Monorail, the Disney Skyliner, and watercraft like ferries and boats. These options make it easy to get around the resort without needing a car.

If you're staying at a Disney Resort, buses will pick you up right at your hotel and drop you off near the front entrance of each theme park. From there, you'll simply scan your park ticket or MagicBand to enter.

Currently, the Disney bus system connects all four theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, Disney Springs, and the water parks. It’s good to know that service to the water parks may be limited to certain times of day or may require a transfer at a nearby resort or park, depending on the season.

You don’t need theme park tickets to enjoy Walt Disney World’s complimentary transportation, and it can be a fun way to explore the magic outside the parks. On our non-park days, my family especially loves riding the boats between resorts. It's a relaxing way to take in the sights without ever stepping into a park.

If you do plan to visit more than one theme park in a single day, you’ll want to purchase a Park Hopper ticket. This option lets you start your day in one park and then hop over to another. It's a great way to catch your favorite attractions across multiple parks or enjoy dinner and fireworks in a different location from where you started your morning.

Carolin, I hope this helps you be able to make your Disney plans. If you find that you still need additional help, stop by and see me again! I'd be happy to help you with all of the Disney details.

    Toodles,
