Hi Kayla!
Yeehaw! Thrilled to hear you are circling the wagons for a Walt Disney World vacation. It's bound to be a rootin' tootin' good time, especially with a pit stop or stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.
One of the things I love to do is get my bearings for my resort in advance. So I totally applaud your wanting to get the lay of the land, especially at such a sprawling location as Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. Having stayed at the
Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort a few years back, I was totally turned around for a few hours on the first day because I did not scope it all out in advance. Believe me, when staying at one of the campsites, you want to know where the nearest Comfort Station is!
You can find a
site map online or request one at check-in. However, with many Guests opting to do Online Check-In, I can understand why you’d rather already have your hands on a map. An internet search will also turn up some that you could print at home.
I'll always have fond memories of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. My little equestrian loved getting to ride horses at
Tri-Circle-D Ranch, so I’ll always have a soft spot for the
pony and trail rides offered here. Meanwhile, my son preferred to flex his skills at the
archery range. Don’t miss the
Movies Under the Stars featuring Disney movies served up poolside. Check here for a
list of all the current activities and experiences offered at this resort.
Kayla, saddle up your horses and head back to the planDisney corral with more questions. We'd love to wrangle some more answers for you!
