hi going in 2018 and would like to do 2 on site hotels. How would this affect our 14 for 7 ticket with dining plan? hoping someone might know

Hello Mel and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a great question about your 2018 jolly holiday plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
I totally understand your query as it's my own personal goal to try and stay in and therefore gain experience of as many Disney Resort hotels as I possibly can.  But when you're like me and only get to visit Disney once a year - that proves a bit tricky!  I like to think of it as Walt said, "It's kind of fun to try and do the impossible."
In my own experience I've certainly Resort-hopped during a 2 week stay which at that time did not affect my 14 day Ultimate Ticket; which as per the current Terms & Conditions - activated from it's 1st day of use. However because I was not using a Disney Dining Plan, I suggest that you may wish to speak with a knowledgeable Cast Member by dialling the freephone number for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory who will best placed to assist in planning your magical 2018 Walt Disney World Resort hotel-hopping-holiday!
Wishing you pixie dusted planning and please do feel free to pop back anytime to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
