Hey there, hi there, Mary! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney, and let me offer you a warm "Welcome Home," neighbor! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your Disney Vacation Club question. I love chatting with a fellow Member!
Don't you just
love being a DVC Member?! Knowing that your next magical adventure is always right on the horizon is simply priceless. But with Use Years, booking windows,
waitlists and more, sometimes, it can be as confusing as it is magical. That's where we at planDisney come in! Since your next adventure is in just
days (Eeeek! How exciting!), let's get your question answered.
If your waitlisted DVC Resort and dates become available, the reservation will be automatically confirmed, and you will be notified with a confirmation email. The new Resort reservation and any active waitlists you have can be viewed by logging in to your account on the
DVC website, hovering over the "My DVC" tab and clicking "
My Dashboard." Under "My Vacation Plans," confirmed reservations will be listed in blue, and active waitlists will be in orange. If your waitlist is still active, that means that it has not yet been matched.
If you no longer see your waitlist under "My Vacation Plans," and the reservation was not confirmed, it's likely that the waitlist is no longer available. Waitlists are only active up until 31 days or 7 days before your check-in date, depending on which one you selected when you set up the waitlist. Once you are within that 31 or 7-day window, the waitlist is no longer active and will no longer show on your Plans.
I hope this was helpful, Mary, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable upcoming vacation! Please stop by any time with any planning or DVC questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
Mandy
