The site I bought our tickets from didn't give me an option to download a digital copy, it only had the option to print them. I don't really want to carry paper tickets with me, could I take a picture of them and scan that for entry instead?

Welcome to planDisney, Melissa, it’s so nice to hEAR from you!

Hakuna Matata…it means no worries! I have a different suggestion for you that might make carrying your tickets along even easier. What you’ll want to do is go ahead and download the Disneyland mobile app. You’ll then sign in, or create an account, if you don’t already have one. After that go ahead and select the three bars on the bottom right-hand corner. From there click the box that says “Tickets and Passes''. Then select the middle option that says “Link Tickets & Passes''. That will launch the camera and allow you to take the photo of the barcode on the tickets you have already printed out and automatically link them to the mobile app.

After your tickets have been linked, you’ll want to make sure to schedule your theme park reservations as well. You can also do this on the mobile app by selecting the “+” sign at the bottom center of the app. Click “Make a Park Reservation”, select the theme park you wish to visit, date, and confirm your reservation. You will be able to schedule the number of reservations based on your ticket allowance, subject to availability.

Melissa, I know that was a lot of information at one time. It’s just nice to get all the hard work done so that you can pack and prepare for this very magical visit!

Have a great time and if there’s anything else you need, don’t hesitate to ask!

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
