For sit down service meals, where would be some of the best places to go with a faily of 2 adults and 2 finicky kids? Their tastes are a bit basic. Thanks

Hi, Lee!  With kids, especially picky eaters, I think buffets are always a great option.  I like that you don't have to wait for your meals to be prepared, and your kids can find exactly what they want on the buffet.   If it is mac-n-cheese they like, they can have as much as they want!    There are always nice options for adults as well.

Some buffets I like:  Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom, Cape May at the Beach Club, and Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios.  For a complete list of buffets and family style dining locations, go to and search "all you can eat dining."    You can see your options and maybe even find you will be dining with some of your favorite Disney Pals!   Once you choose your dining locations, make sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE.

Disney does a nice job catering to kids while offering healthy options, even at quick service locations where you can get sides such as grapes, carrots, and apple sauce.   I hope you find some dining that appeals to both you and your kids!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
