Hi there Erin! Welcome back to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with another great question, and I'd be happy to assist you today.
My family and I just returned from a wonderful end-of-summer getaway to Walt Disney World, and we were so pleased with all of the
health and safety measures in place to help Guests vacation with confidence. We observed Cast Members and Guests respectfully following all guidelines.
Erin, my family has spent the summer months enjoying our restaurant meals al fresco, both at home at on vacation. While table-service restaurants at the Disney Parks and
Resort Hotels do not currently offer a to-go option, the quick-service eateries do, and we utilized this option throughout our stay last week. Each morning, we used
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering to place and pick up our breakfast at
Roaring Fork. When the
My Disney Experience Mobile App alerted us that our meal was ready, my husband or I would go to the restaurant pickup area and retrieve a bag with our freshly prepared order. We were then free to enjoy our meal at one of the available physically distanced, outdoor tables at Roaring Fork, or on our balcony at
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The entire experience was simple and reassuring. Fellow panelists have shared similar stories from other Resort Hotels and theme park quick-service dining establishments. Hakuna Matata!
If you are hungry for table-service cuisine and prefer to dine in the fresh air, some of our favorite restaurants that offer outdoor seating are
Olivia's Cafe at
Disney's Old Key West Resort,
The BOATHOUSE® at
Disney Springs,
Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and the
Rose & Crown Dining Room at
EPCOT. Be sure to tell a Cast Member upon arrival that you prefer to dine al fresco. Bon appétit!
Erin, I hope this helps as you prepare to return to the magic, and that you will feel just as delighted as I did with everything Disney is doing to keep us safe. Best wishes for a fantastic vacation!
