Ahoy, Shawnee! Are you feeling ready to set sail for adventure with Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie? I hope so!
My family's first stop, once we have stepped aboard any Disney Cruise Ship, is lunch. There will be a couple of options for lunch, and that includes a full-service sit-down restaurant option. When I last sailed on the Disney Wonder, this was being offered in Triton's, however, the restaurant may vary depending upon your sailing.
You can reference the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for restaurant hours (and to look at the menu too) or ask a Crew Member once you are on the ship. The full-service restaurant will have limited hours for lunch, so depending on the time you board the ship, it may or may not be available. If you have a later boarding time, I recommend that you swing by
Cabana's on Deck 9 or visit the quick service options (also on Deck 9).
When I sail with my family, I always pack a few snacks and water to have in my carry-on bag as we wait to board the ship. On occasion, we have had to wait longer than expected between our Port Arrival Time and the time we board the ship and enjoy lunch. In those instances, I am grateful I had a snack on hand.
I wish you a smooth embarkation experience and a tasty lunch!
