Is the sit down experience at "Be our Guest' much different from the walk up service? I have a reservation, but it isn't fitting into our schedule and I'm tempted to cancel if the walk up service is decent.

    Hi Ann,

In my opinion, the counter service experience at Be Our Guest is just as lovely as the table service option. However, counter service is only at lunch, and right now you have to be willing to stand in a really long line. It moves rather quickly, but it still can take 30-90 minutes to get a table, simply because everyone wants to dine there.

When my family ate there for dinner, Beast was available for taking pictures during the dinner hour. I'm not sure if this is something that occurs nightly or not, but it definitely doesn't happen during the lunch hour. I also encourage you to explore the menu for both lunch and dinner. They are different.

If your goal is to simply see the inside of the castle, and you don't mind waiting, then a counter service lunch is a delightful option.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
