It sounds like you and your sisters have such a magical trip planned with your family! I love the idea of doing a
character dining experience before you head home, it's a great way to get one more dose of magic in before the trip ends.
You truly cannot go wrong with either Storytellers Cafe or Goofy's Kitchen, but I think it comes down to which Disney pal you'd like a group photo with. If you would love a classic photo with Mickey Mouse, then definitely head to
Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet. You'll get to meet him and other pals while enjoying a delicious breakfast buffet with items such as chile verde chilaquiles.
If you're looking for a more energetic atmosphere and Goofy is a family favorite, then I would head to
Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel! You'll start off the meal with a photo with Chef Goofy himself, and then also indulge in a breakfast buffet of Mickey Waffles and other delicious offerings.
You'll be able to make your
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, I would definitely plan to secure your reservation early since those are both popular dining experiences! They both are wonderful options and you'll enjoy a great meal at both, you truly cannot go wrong no matter which one you end up picking.
If it's your parents' first visit to the Disneyland Resort, make sure to grab them a complimentary "First Visit" celebratory button at City Hall in Disneyland Park or Guest Services at Disney California Adventure Park. I'm sure they'll receive some special shout-outs from both Cast Members and Guests!
