My sisters and I are coming for a girls weekend. Do you know if there is a wine tasting package to the flower & garden festival? We would love to sip at each country without buying a full glass or having too much!

    Hi April,

You are in luck! The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival this year added about a dozen Garden Marketplaces around the World Showcase, similar to the kiosks featured each year at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. Each marketplace features sample sizes of food, non-alcoholic drinks and adult beverages.

My husband and I noshed our way around the marketplaces last weekend, and it was a delicious way to spend a spring afternoon.

You can find the menu list for each marketplace at the link I provided above. There appear to be more varieties of beers than wines during this festival. Although we didn't try any of the wines last week, we did note that there were interesting, unique choices, such as tomato wine or carrot wine from Florida Fresh and mango wine or blueberry wine from Fruits by the Glass.

The price of the wine tastes begin at $3.

You didn't ask about food, but I can tell you that we really enjoyed the refreshing watermelon salad from the Florida Fresh booth, the spring pancake with grilled chicken and green apple from Lotus House and the beef brisket with collard greens and cornbread from the Smokehouse. The Dole Whip with the spiced rum is getting rave reviews, too.

Of course, all the food and beverage offerings you normally find at the quick service restaurants and permanent kiosks of Epcot are available as well.

I hope you and your sisters have a wonderful girls' weekend. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions. Enjoy!
