My sister-in-law is bringing her 6 mo old baby to disney and is worried about the pack and play mattress. She is thinking about ordering a thicker pack and play mattress and having it shipped. Any thoughts? We are going in May with my 1.5 yo and 3 yo too

Hi, Brook!   Deciding whether or not the pack and play mattresses will work for your baby is up to you!  What I did when my kids were little was bring a really soft, thick blanket from home along with a crib sheet.  I would put the blanket down first, then cover it with my own fitted crib sheet.  This way, there was some extra cushion and my kids had familiar sheets to sleep on.   (Who knows if this helped or if they cared about their own sheets, but it made me feel better!)

If you have fussy babies, then you might want to arrange for something other than the standard pack and play, but they might just surprise you and after getting tired out from a day in the parks - they might fall right asleep no matter where they are!  Good luck!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
