hello :) My sister&I are going to travel on september to WDW. Our magicbands are suppose to be picked up at our check-in. My question is... can i register a debit card to make purchases with my magic band or is it necessary to have a credit card?

    Welcome back, Michelle!

How exciting you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort with your sister! Just last week I had the opportunity for a quick visit with a good friend, and I linked my debit card to my MagicBand without any issues. It is so convenient to use my MagicBand for charging privileges. Not only did I charge meals and merchandise purchases, but I even used my MagicBand to buy delicious chocolates from The Ganachery in Disney Springs!

I hope you have a magical adventure with your sister! Please visit us again should you have other questions!

    Happy Planning!
