Hello, Catherine!
I have been able to use one
Memory Maker to cover two trips that were within weeks of each other. So with perfect timing, you may find this will work for you too!
Here are the important things to remember:
Disney's PhotoPass Service photos are active for 45 days from the date taken. You will receive email notifications when your photos are about to expire. Second, you must purchase Memory Maker (MM) at least three days BEFORE your trip (I do a week a before) so you are sure to cover all your photos. MM must be activated when the photos are still active. Once you have activated the MM purchase, you have unlimited downloads of all PhotoPass photos in your account for 30 days. You and your sister must be linked via Friends and Family in
My Disney Experience, AND you must have permission to view and purchase her photos. Since your sister visits 35 days after your trip, it is important that you do not activate your purchase during YOUR trip. Based on the information you have provided, I think you are safe to enable MM right before your sister's visit.
Last fall, I traveled to Walt Disney World in November and then again 40 days later in December. On this occasion, I did not activate MM during my first visit. I waited until mid-November to activate to cover my second trip! It was cutting it a bit close, and I double and triple checked my dates on the calendar to be sure it would work. In the end, it worked for me, and I was able to stretch my purchase for two fabulous trips, accumulating over 1,000 photos!
I hope this helps, Catherine! Please visit us again should you have additional questions!
