Hi Shannon,
It's great to see you planning Disney at planDisney again! A mother-son trip to Walt Disney World Resort (times two!) sounds like a dream come true. If your son's a thrill seeker, I highly recommend experiencing Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. By next August,
TRON Lightcycle/Run will also be open at Magic Kingdom Park. A
Memory Maker purchase will help capture all of your excitement with unlimited downloads of photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers as well as all attraction photos.
I understand your nephew's
My Disney Experience account profile is currently housed under your account and you would like your sister to manage his plans. Cast Member assistance is required to make this change. I recently had success moving my children's My Disney Experience profiles from my husband's account to mine via the live chat feature of the
Walt Disney World website. Be sure to have the email address associated with your and your sister's My Disney Experience accounts handy.
Cast Members are available between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. EST. If the Chat icon in the
Help Center is grayed out, that just means all Cast Members are busy helping other Guests. If that's the case, I recommend keeping a tab open and your volume up while you go about other internet business. You'll hear a sound alert when a Cast Member is available. You can also call and speak to a Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands number.
Until the switch is made, I'm happy to share that your sister can still view and make plans for her son (purchase and link theme park tickets, make
theme park reservations, link MagicBands, make dining reservations, etc) as long as they're connected as
Family and Friends. The things only the manager of an account profile can do include changing the account profile character image and managing their MagicBands.
I hope this is helpful information, Shannon. Thanks for making planDisney your planning partner; we're hEAR to help!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
